Clio is a small quiet town located in northern Genesee County, that retains its historic influences. It is approximately 10 miles north of Flint. Clio is primarily a residential community, with small businesses, shopping, and restaurants, although new development is very active to this area. One of Clio's main attractions is the outdoor Clio Amphitheater. Many well known entertainers perform here thoughout the summer season. The Clio area School District is one of the few area districts with North Central Accreditation in all grade levels and in all schools.
