Davison is a small town located in eastern Genesee County approximately 10 miles from Flint, and known as the City of Flags. It is one of the fastest growing communities in Genesee County, commercially and residentially. There still continues to be an increase in new development to this small quiet, sports and recreation community. Davison offers an 18-hole public golf course, the Davison Country Club, offering members racquet ball, swimming and fitness equipment. Davison also has several parks offering the public tennis, volleyball, basketball, iceskating rink, fitness trails and a new playground area. The Davison & St. John's Festival of Flags is an annual event that takes place in June, a large parade proceeds the event and the Business Expo and the Miss Michigan Pageant is included in the events that the Chamber of Commerce sponors. This is a nice, quiet small community with a lot to offer.
