I got the majority of the first buried pipe done. I have it hooked up to the collection grate under the downspout of the house and I also piped in the discharge line of the sump pump into it. I was going to go with a collection type drum at the end from Menards but its 85.00 each..OUCH x 4 thats really more then I wana spend. So it looks like I will be digging out further another 10 feet and putting in drain tile covered with pea stone to allow it the best drainage. I think with the other 3 trenches I need to do I am going to go out 10' solid and then 10' of draintile. I cant see doing 90' more feel of digging (by hand) to get these all done. I am sure feeling sore this morning! But I know its a good thing. I also got some ground covering plants transplanted from the back "wood lot" on my yard to the front near the house to help cover up the dirt and give it some more stability.
