Chineese, Japaneese, dirty kneens, look at these...
I was the "dirty knees" I got my yard of pea stone today at a local landscape supply place here in Lansing. That was the most weight I ever had in the humvee but it handled it fine. A friend says it was about 2000 lbs.
Well long LONG story short. I finished off the last one at 9:30 this evening. Bugs were bad but the heat wasn't all that bad. I am sore as hell but I know it was well worth the time and money and energy I put into it. I am now just waiting for a good rain to see how well they work and drain. I WILL be really pissed if they don't handle a respectable shower. I will post photos at some point. For now I am just happy to be done. This was for sure the biggest, longest and hardest task yet undertaken. Whats next for the house? I'm not sure.
Another lil project I did that was really nice and easy. Menards has a lil solar powered LED light called "The Illuminator" it is for lighting up your address numbers or a porch or whatever. So I installed that over my walk in door on the garage. It gives off great light with 9 white LEDS. Its easy to install and uses no power! Joel (alive and kicking) but not by much
