yah yah another post on what I did on the house....
Lucked out today and didn't have to drive. So I went back to my home away from home (Menards) got a box of nails for that one last piece of roof sheeting and got it nailed down. Also got enough gutter stuff to get the north side of the garage done and the downspout installed. Goof ups: measure twice cut once..yeah yeah yeah we all know that one by now. As did I, did I follow it? of course not I know what Im doing with these vinyl gutters. Well they came out about 2 inches to short. I didn't totally follow the directions when I did em the first time and those came out great. I forgot to screw in the piece that drops the water down off the gutters and I didnt double check that the gutters were all the way down to the one end where they should of been. (attached to the downspout portion) Well live and learn I say. Tho I do enjoy putting up the gutters except for the glue in unions. That glue sets in 30 seconds NO JOKE. It takes about 15 seconds to get the parts lined up even if they are prelined up the fitting isn't the best. So will most likely use a lil white calk tomorrow and see how that does. Kids in the neighborhood are starting to get on my nerves. They wana ride in the army truck all the time... *sigh* I created a monster. I hear em ringing my doorbell right now... lol suckers im upstairs in the bedroom. Not going down. :-)
